The specific mandate of the Regulated Applications team is to develop and operationalize those Tally applications that interact with government infrastructure and/or are subject to regulatory and compliance requirements, such as GSP (GST Suvidha Provider). The scale of the services offered, and the sensitivity and criticality of the required software and infrastructure pose very specific challenges that require a top-quality team and highest focus on quality and engineering rigor.
Designation: Sr. Software Engineer (GSP)
Function/Group: R&D
Experience : 4-10 Yrs
What will you be doing :
- Responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle (requirement definition, design, implementation, testing, bug fixing, etc.) of selected components and modules, in coordination with product owner, technical architects, and other stakeholders
- Responsible to deliver all relevant artefacts (design documents, code, code reviews, unit tests, etc.) with high quality and on time
- Conform to adopted best practices and processes of the team (agile development, CI/CD, etc.)
- Mentor junior colleagues through guidance, code reviews, etc
Who are we looking for :
- Strong computer science fundamentals - Good knowledge of Data Structures, Algorithms, Database, Object Oriented Programming, OS Concepts, Software Design, Software Documentation, Software Testing & UML
- Should have strong working knowledge in C, C++
- Strong foundations in object oriented programming and design
- Experience with functional programming (e.g. Haskell, Scala) a plus
- Ability to adapt to new technology stacks and a willingness to explore and learn new technologies
- Solid experience in the agile development process and good working knowledge of continuous integration / continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes
