Job Description :

Responsibilities :

- Design and Develop : Architect and implement scalable data pipelines using Spark, Flink, Airflow, and Apache Hudi to process large-scale data efficiently.

- Database and Storage Optimization : Work extensively with Redshift, ClickHouse, and other databases, optimizing query performance, storage, and cost efficiency.

- Data Lake and ETL Development : Build and manage data lakes and ingestion frameworks using AWS services such as S3 Glue, and EMR.

- Data Modeling and System Design : Design and implement robust data models for structured and semi-structured datasets, ensuring performance, scalability, and maintainability.

- Real-time and Batch Processing : Develop and maintain both real-time and batch data pipelines using technologies like Flink, Spark Streaming, and Kafka.

- AWS and Cloud Infrastructure : Leverage AWS services (S3 Redshift, Lambda, ECS, etc. ) to build a scalable and cost-efficient data ecosystem.

- Automation and Orchestration : Manage workflow automation and orchestration using Apache Airflow.

- Mentorship : Guide and mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and contribute to best practices for data engineering.

- Monitoring and Optimization : Implement observability (monitoring, alerting, logging) for data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance.

Requirements :

- 6+ years of experience in data engineering, big data processing, and cloud-based data architectures.

- Strong expertise in Redshift, ClickHouse, and other distributed databases.

- Experience with Apache Spark, Flink, Apache Hudi, and Airflow.

- Deep knowledge of data modeling, schema design, and database optimization.

- Hands-on experience in building data pipelines on AWS (S3 Glue, Redshift, EMR, Lambda, etc. ).

- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Scala for data engineering tasks.

- Experience in mentoring and leading junior engineers in best practices.

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering workflows.

- Familiarity with streaming data technologies (Kafka, Kinesis, Pulsar, etc. ).

- Prior experience with Terraform, Kubernetes, or serverless architectures.

- Exposure to data governance, security, and compliance best practices.

Job Description : OpenText Content Server or LiveLink (ECM) & xECM skills.

Experience : 5+.

Location : Hyderabad & Bangalore.

Work from Office.

Consultant (Managed Services).

The resource will be part of a Managed Services team providing Application Management and Maintenance for OpenText customers spread across the globe. Wide breadth of skills enabling one to solve complex problems in the areas of Application Availability, Performance and Capacity both in terms of incidents and problems. Experience in Production Operations (or Support) plus Software Maintenance (bug fixing, code maintenance) are a must.

You are great at :

- Install, configure, maintain and monitor one or more OpenText (OT) products/solutions in the Cloud: OT Cloud, Customer premises, or 3rd party IaaS.

- Troubleshoot and find resolutions/workarounds to incidents.

- Design, develop and test fixes for problems arising on top of customizations to OT products.

- Research and fix problems in configuration mainly at Application Level, also demonstrating adequate knowledge of OS and Network as applications work in that context.

- Problems can be related to availability, performance, or capacity.

- Assist the project team in the development of customizations.

- Work on performance tuning.

- Performing deployments and applying product patches.

- Perform Upgrades, Migrations.

- Work in shifts: Morning, Regular, Afternoon and Night on rotation basis.

Skill set required :

- Between 5 to 7 years of experience supporting OpenText Content Server or LiveLink (ECM) & xECM including development and maintenance of customizations.

- Exposure to remote administration services, or cloud operations environment.

Technical skills :

- Programing and scripting: Core Java, J2EE (Certification preferred), HTML, Ajax, OScript.

- Operating Systems: Linux and/or Windows.

- Containerization and Kubernetes.

- Web and application servers (any one or more of): Tomcat, Apache, IIS.

- Directory Services: Open-LDAP, Active Directory, OTDS.

- Database: MSSQL, Oracle (DML and routine maintenance tasks).

- Troubleshooting and debugging.

- Excellent communication / presentation / verbal and written communication skills.

Definite Plus :

- Prior experience working in an ISO27001 certified work environment.

- ITIL Foundation certification.
