Work closely with lead and manager to make sure business requirements in the form of production release deliverables are met.
Participate in Agile Scrum calls to update technical and product partners on status.
Ensure code has met or exceeded code coverage, performance, stability, resiliency and security/cyber needs.
Work with team and provide new enhancement work estimation to lead.
Escalate issues to lead and/or manager as required.
Availability for production support incident/SME support as required.
Support application hygiene, stability, resiliency and cyber support needs of highly resilient financial/banking applications.
Experience Required:
Minimum 5-7 years of web application development work experience. Cloud experience is preferable, if not alternatively understanding of 12-factor apps is essential.
Experience delivering using Agile methodology is desirable.
Experience working in a financial / banking application will be a plus.
Bachelor's in Computer Science/ IT / Software engineering or equivalent is desirable.
Technical Skills:
Front to bank engineer with both UI and server-side experience is required. Ember JS, React JS, Angular JS or equivalent is required.
Spring MVC, Junit, Mockito, solid understanding of REST principles and hands-on experience is required. Reactive Spring, Gemfire or equivalent and Cassandra (Distributed DB architecture) awareness is a plus.
Sound understanding of JavaScript programming language, its quirks, browser agnostic coding, blazing fast performance, HTML5, CSS3 and JS code coverage automation is required.
Working experience with JS automation not limited to Grunt or equivalent is required.
Knowledge of any NoSQL DB such as Elastic-Search, Cassandra will be a plus.
Hands on experience with SpringBoot, Netty or Tomcat server is required including JVM/profiling tuning is required.
Any version control management software such as Subversion, GIT, Jira, Quality Center knowledge is required.
