We are currently looking for a Software Engineer to join our growing team, who will be responsible to develop web-based applications for ODK Media's service together with a passionate team. In addition, this position will require the ideal candidate to contribute to the new technical strategy and tactics for ODK Media, Inc. The ideal candidate is passionate about redefining content through innovation, unconventional thinking, and embracing fun!

About the job

• Design and develop Web Application and API for ODK Media's services.


• Develop and maintain administration web service for ODK Media's services.

Tech stack

• Python, Django, REST, Go


• PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis


• AWS, Kubernetes, CDN

Qualifications

Minimum

• Available development Python web frameworks and understanding and experience unit test.


• Ability to use basic SQL clauses (ex. SELECT, JOIN, INSERT, DELETE, UPDATE).


• Experience with linux shell command and deployment/maintenance on linux server.


• Effective written and verbal communication skills.


• Available to work in Korea(must have F-2, F-4 or F-5 Visa)

• Analyzing and solving problems in complex service environments.


• Developing and operating video streaming services.


• Experience in open source project contribution.




• Language




• Experience developing and operating Django services.


• Experience with RESTful API development.


• Basic understanding of frontend technology.

• Experience with RDBMS like PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.


• Experience with NoSQL like Redis, MongoDB, etc.

• Understanding development and deployment on the cloud system like AWS, Azure, GCP.
