We are searching for highly motivated Software Development Engineers in Test with a track record of success to join our expanding team. In this role you will be responsible for driving our test automation strategy, coaching teams to test, providing necessary tooling and directly contributing to a suite of automated functional and non-functional tests for JPMorgan's Digital Platform. You will work alongside our Technology, Product and UX colleagues to perform technical analysis of client requirements, write test cases and plan their execution.
This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages: JavaScript/TypeScript, Java
Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
Have strong programming foundations
Have experience in full software development lifecycle with agile methodologies.
Automation testing & QA experience
Have experience in test driven development using modern source control and CI/CD
Have experience leveraging modern frameworks, libraries, tools and languages.
Have a clear understanding of messaging technologies and back-end services.
Be a practitioner of Clean Code
Highly beneficial to have working experience with:
Parallel computing
JavaScript build tooling
Modern browser support (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari)
Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, Gherkin, Grid
Globally distributed teams
