Software Engineer- Java Script / React / Java at JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. (Jersey City, NJ)

This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:
* BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
* Advanced knowledge of application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines
* Understanding of architecture and design across all systems
* Working proficiency in developmental toolsets
* Knowledge of industry wide technology trends and best practices
* Ability to work in large, collaborative teams to achieve organizational goals, and passionate about building an innovative culture
* Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as Java Script
* Understanding of software skills such as business analysis, development, maintenance and software improvement
* Demonstrated and strong experience with Core Java, JavaScript and HTML5 programming
* Common Javascript frameworks-including Angular, ReactJS, Ajax, or in building own
* Design, coding, testing and debugging skills
* Agile development experience or equivalent in fast-paced development environment
* Good understanding in data persistence (SQL or noSQL) data paradigms
* Solid financial engineering background is desirable
* Quantitative experience in the field of optimization, regression and portfolio analytics is desirable
* Experience in front-office capital markets/investment management applications is desirable
* CFA, FRM, and/or Financial Engineering degree and/or risk management knowledge is a major plus
