We are looking for great Senior Python Engineers to work on the development of backend components and integrations for our new line of products. You will work with a talented team of stakeholders and other engineers to design and build our new, strategically important products for BlueVine.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work closely with, and incorporate feedback from, product managers and other stakeholders in the company
- Architect and build scalable and robust components and integrations
- Design and build systems with automated testing, instrumentation, and monitoring
- Develop projects through their entire lifecycle
- Be part of a fast-paced and flexible team
- Provide leadership and mentorship to other junior engineers
WHAT WE LOOK FOR:
- Experience building REST APIs for web and/or mobile consumer-facing applications
- Experience of Python (4+ years) and Django (2+ years)
- Experience with AWS, cloud deployments, DevOps and web security
- Proficiency with database systems (e.g., MySQL PostgreSQL)
- Experience with source control management systems, preferably Git
Nice To Haves
- Experience with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of front-end JavaScript frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue)
