PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES
Our department is working on the SAP Concur Travel & Expense product, which is a cloud application for travel and expense. Concur provides the ability to digitize and automate travel planning, cost control, and travel expenses.
Our main topic within the team is the integration of SAP Concur with other SAP systems to automate master data updates (e.g. employee, cost objects) and enable automatic posting of travel expenses with the goal of quick expense reimbursement. Such an automated integration guarantees data equality in both systems without manual double maintenance.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS
You will work in a diverse Scrum team, which is responsible for the integration of S/4HANA on Premise and S/4HANA Cloud via SAP Cloud Platform (SCP) into SAP Concur Travel & Expense. We develop a microservice in Java, which consumes the central master data service of the SCP. We are responsible for the functionality from the UI to the database and go through the software life cycle from concept through design and development to testing and maintenance.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES

  • Good University degree in computer science, engineering or similar area
  • Ability to work in a team 
  • Good programming skills in Java
  • Experience in DevOps environment  
  • Fluent communication skills in both German and English

WORK EXPERIENCE
Working experience in the area of software development or/and software architecture for at least 5 years.
