Integral Ad Science (IAS) is looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Video team. If you are excited by technology that has the power to handle hundreds of thousands of transactions per second; collect tens of billions of events each day; and evaluate thousands of data-points in real-time all while responding in just a few milliseconds, then IAS is the place for you! Our team is responsible for building the technologies that drive our Video products which are focused on measuring Video viewability across desktop and mobile to give our clients all the viewability metrics to ensure they’re making the right impact with their target audience. So we’re looking for creative people with a passion for building high performance solutions in JavaScript.
The ideal candidate is naturally curious, dedicated, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a collaborative agile environment with great engineers and very talented people.
What you’ll do:
- Innovate and develop for our client- and server-side Video technologies
- Collaborate closely with product teams and other cross-functional teams
- Utilize testing frameworks to ensure high quality
- Analyze data and perform troubleshooting to resolve issues and understand how our technology is functioning “in the wild”
You should apply if you have most of this:
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent)
- Fluency in JavaScript (framework agnostic) and other browser-based technologies
- Comfort working with Jasmine or a similar testing framework
- Ability to work and communicate effectively with others
- Experience or interest in working further down the stack
What puts you over the top:
- Familiarity with Node and Python
