Job Description
nTact is looking for a C# developer responsible to drive creation and maintenance of Windows-based applications used in the equipment we design, manufacture, and sell as well as applications that are used within our company to improve our workflows.
Essential Functions and Duties
- Design, code, test, document, and debug new and existing applications according to industry best practices
- Assist in defining scope and specifications for software projects
- Present ideas for software improvements, including cost proposals
- Monitor, analyze, optimize, and improve existing apps and source code
- Research and recommend improved software development tools, algorithms, and processes
- Document, investigate, fix, and report on software defects
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills Required
- C# (3 years’ experience, minimum)
- Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
- Skill for writing reusable C# libraries
- Familiarity with the .NET framework
- Creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, highly preferred
- High school diploma (or equivalency) required
