Senior Full Stack // Front-End Focus at Ruggable (Gardena, CA)

We are looking for a Software Engineer responsible for building the digital tools that delight our customers and operational teams. You will be key in developing the technology necessary to support all phases of our growing business from the moment a customer places an order, through the production process to fulfillment, and all of the supporting teams in between, from Supply Chain to Customer Experience. On the production-side, you will be creating tools to enable the manufacturing process, solving complex problems, and building targeted solutions that improve our operational effectiveness. You’ll be part of a growing engineering team across product, marketing, and operations with opportunities to work closely across all of Ruggable.


General qualifications / skills



  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in engineering or a related field

  • 3-5 years of experience working with our technology, frameworks, and AWS

  • Front and back-end architecture and code expertise with an intuition for robust and performant cloud solutions

  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD)

  • Familiar with restful APIs, microservices, and event based architecture

  • Eager and able to mentor other members of the team and perform code reviews

  • Advocate for best practices, responsive designs, and new tools / frameworks

  • Diligent with documentation and clear communicator

  • Proactive and results oriented


Frontend responsibilities



  • Collaborate with other senior engineers to evolve the architecture of our web applications

  • Improve the response time, resilience, and scalability of our systems

  • Work with the rest of our engineering and product team to improve the product development lifecycle of our applications

  • Obsessed with usability and creating responsive UIs

  • Experience working with micro-apps and creating unified UIs

  • Successfully deployed testing frameworks and new libraries into existing, or new, infrastructure
