Nescode is an internet engineering company focused on solving problems in business collaboration. We believe that an awesome product can only be built on a bedrock of solid engineering. We are looking for experienced developers to join us at our Bangalore office. Our technology stack is mostly Python/Django and JavaScript/React framework and we believe that good engineering transcends the barrier of programming languages.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Conceptualizing, developing, releasing and maintaining features of Python/Django based application. For us, a feature is not done until it is in production and everyone is responsible for the features that they release in production.
- Developing python/django based application based on custom requirement.
- Contributing to the overall technical architecture of existing codebase.
- MySQL and PostgreSQL database update, migration and optimization.
- Understanding, prioritizing and paying off technical debt.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Exposure to real world technical problems that affect thousands of users.
Key Skills
Python, Django, HTML5, Bootstrap, JavaScript, SQL, CSS3
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Ability to own a functional area, mentor teammates, ship production ready code and get the desired business value.
- Github management skill.
- Project management skill is must.
- Good communication skill.
- Hands on programming experience in building web applications using python and Django, javascript & javascript frameworks is a must.
- Understands the importance of good programming practices test driven development, code reviews etc.
