Summary
Were looking for an experienced Full Stack Engineer with knowledge of all stages of software development. This individual will work alongside other engineers and developers, collaborating on the various layers of the infrastructure for our NextGen SIEM 2.0 Technology product.
Responsibilities
Develop SIEM
Design, build, deploy and maintain scalable services
Establish best practices to continually increase performance and scalability
Collaborate with Engineering and Development
Debug and solve real-time customer issues
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
2+ years of Java development experience
2+ years of experience in Javascript frameworks (jQuery, AngularJS)
Computer Science fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, storage systems, best security practices
Strong problem-solving skills; adaptable, proactive and willing to take ownership.
Proficiency in Java
Strong front-end coder, regardless of frameworks, ability to write clean, effective code (Technologies include Javascript, HTML, basic CSS, JSP)
Proficiency in JavaScript and understanding of how web technologies work
Ability to work effectively in teams of technical and non-technical individuals
Skill and comfort working in a rapidly changing environment with dynamic objectives and iteration with users
Demonstrated ability to learn continuously, work independently, and make decisions with minimal supervision
Preferred
Experience with MVC architecture
Experience building and working with APIs
Hands on experience with SOLR / Elastic Search / Kafka / HBase / Redis / MySQL
Experience in setting up, troubleshooting and maintaining Hadoop components
Basic knowledge on UNIX
Experience in JUnit
