Software Engineer -Back-end at Vertika Limited (Pune, India)

Responsibilities and Duties

• Design, implement and maintain web-based applications.
• Work closely with design and front-end developers.
• Utilize unit-testing and design patterns to build robust, extensible applications.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• 2 to 5 years of professional experience.
• C#, ASP.NET MVC, Entity Framework and SQL Server are must-haves.
• Deep and clear understanding of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Design modular applications that promote testing.
• Implement unit tests along with the application code.
• Must be able to implement, analyse and debug code independently.
• Thorough understanding of linear data structures (lists, queues and stacks), their performance characteristics and their use-cases.
• Familiarity with supplementary frameworks for logging, DI, file processing and testing is good to have.
