Hays Specialist Recruitment has partnered with Flex (previously known as Flextronics) who is looking to hire a Software Tester - Embedded Testing & Validation for a 1 - 2 years contract, located in Toronto
Your new role
- Responsible for the Software Testing and Validation of Automotive ECU's
- 3-5 years Embedded Software Testing and Validation experience in Automotive, FCA FORD GM ECU
- Analyze, estimate and develop Software Validation Specification covering low to complex system functionalities based on system / software requirements
- Participate in test system development process and develop or adapt generic tests scripts for project needs;
- Perform tests and develops plans and reports according with defined Test Process;
- Develop and run automated tests covering functionality and diagnostic requirements in line with actual quality, process and design rules;
- Collaborate with Software Team Leader and Software Quality Assurance in verifying test results.
- Participate in Software Peer reviews together with SWQA for the assigned projects
- Install and configure the Test and validation environment including script generation (build scripts, test cases,etc.)
What you'll need to succeed
Must Have's
- CANoe/ CANanalyzer
- Minimum 2 years of working experience in Automotive Industry
- CAPL programming
- Working knowledge on vector products
- Experience in Diagnostics + UDS
- Knowledge of ISO 14229
