What are we looking for?


NAB provide onsite user support to over 30,000 users, we are looking for a number of experienced desktop engineers to take accountability for technical delivery and support to all NAB users


Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for the operational support of Desktop Services capability within Workplace, incorporating Run, Provisioning & Deployment, Performance & Quality, Capacity & Continuity, Issue & Risk Management.

  • Accountable for the successful resolution of critical, high, medium and low problems

  • Understands the end-to-end (E2E) technical service(s) including dependent components and infrastructure

  • Supports the successful resolution of critical, high, medium and low problems

  • Wintel Level 3 Server Support (1 – 3 years)

  • Senior Windows Desktop support SME. Level 2 support (Experience) > 5 years

  • Provides SME-level technical support of all facets of the EUC, with specific focus on Wintel Server Support

  • Accountable for the successful resolution of critical, high, medium and low problems

  • Drive continuous technical improvement to the service

  • Maintains knowledge and understanding of the wider Workplace portfolio and identifies opportunities to leverage complementary technologies to drive efficiency through effective consumption of existing toolsets.

  • Contributes to the technical governance of service management processes including, incident, problem, change, configuration, capacity, continuity (DR), availability, asset, monitoring and alerting

  • Asset lifecycle planning to ensure that the asset fits with the Groups standards and strategic direction

  • Collaborate with 3rd party service providers, project services and service management to ensure high quality and successful transition of all service(s) changes

  • Utilise appropriate forums and networks to identify opportunities to leverage asset portfolio capabilities


What we need from you:


While knowing the ins and outs of the latest technology is key, we’re also looking for someone with proven experience in a medium to large enterprise environment. Experience in Microsoft (Wintel) based Workplace


At least 2-3 year’s support / administering medium to large-scale Windows desktop and Wintel Server (physical and virtual) environments, Building, implementing and managing Base Operating Environments (BOE) and SOE, Experience in AD support and implementation.


Technology and delivery, with a strong background in the practical use, support, deployment and management of medium to large-scale Wintel infrastructures
