DescriptionDevelopment Lead*Must pass a drug test and background check once offered position*Primary Responsibilities Directly manage 2-4 scrum teams doing development on our clinical platforms here in the Raleigh office Lead large, complex multi-scrum team projects Optimize the teams agile performance (time to build, time to value and sprint delivery) while exceeding clients quality expectations Capitalize on opportunities to optimize the teams quality and velocity by introduction of tools and process changes Develop plans to meet short and long-term objectives, monitoring and ensuring quality results Resolve conflicts and barriers as they arise and take proactive steps to ensure organizational alignment, cohesion and support Escalate issues related to project outcomes to senior management as needed along with insight on recommended resolutions Build and sustain a high-performing organization including: recruitment, retention, performance management, recognition Provide regular project and organizational communications in the form of status reports and informational meetings to keep staff, colleagues, senior management, external and internal clients apprised of major activities, developments, accomplishments and risks Coach and mentor other development teams on-site and in other locations who are building on our clinical platform, helping them to optimize their solutions and share features with other platform build teamsRequirementsTo be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the qualifications listed in this posting.Required Qualifications Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or related degree, or equivalent work experience 2+ years of experience managing or leading developers and other technical resources 3+ years of experience working in an Agile software development environment 3+ years of recent hands-on experience working directly with Java, Spring, Javascript, html/css and Javascript frameworks (i.e. Angular) 3+ years of experience working with continuous integration software i.e. Jenkins Strong front-end and back-end development skills and understanding of how to optimize software performance Solid technical skills and background needed to support the oversight of development and management of complex multi-platform environments. Demonstrated ability to obtain a thorough understanding of strategic business goals, recommend technology solutions and build credibility with customers and other IT partners Strong project/program management, customer service and conflict management skills that can be applied in providing support and direction to team members, key business and IT staff leading projects Extremely organized with a strong sense of priority, urgency, and commitment to deadlines Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong interpretive skills, as well as the ability to effectively present, negotiate, influence, and build consensus Proficient with office tools Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio Executive level interface and presentation experiencePreferred Qualifications Healthcare industry experience; experience in the clinical space a strong plus Familiarity with emerging technologies used in healthcare such as IoT, AI/ML, blockchain, NLP, and genomics Agile leader certification#Low #Horizontal Integration is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer.
