The 150,000-member American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) seeks an energetic, highly organized policy professional with excellent writing/communications skills and a solid understanding of infrastructure issues to join our Washington, DC staff.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide day-to-day project management of state Infrastructure Report Cards, including coordination with all state Report Card committees, methodology and research guidance, editing, and ongoing outreach, as well as web presence
- Assist in ongoing efforts to develop and promote the national Infrastructure Report Card and create and plan materials, programs, and events that increase awareness of the need to improve the nation's infrastructure
- Support ASCE's partnerships and participation in coalitions advocating for infrastructure investment and improvement
- Coordinate and preparing for ASCE's participation in conferences and speaking engagements related to infrastructure investment and improvement
- Contribute to the Save America's Infrastructure blog, covering state and regional report cards and infrastructure news and trends
