Description: Ranked as a top Fortune 100 Financial Services company our client has an opening for Genesys Applications System Engineer or Developer.This is a 12+ month contract position with possibility of very long term extensions
Location: Charlotte NC OR West Des Moines IA (Onsite Roles &ndash must be able to work at one of the locations listed)
No vendor submissions please
The position will be part of the Genesys Routing Development technology team supporting a large implementation of the Genesys product suite.
Candidates will be responsible for the following but not limited to:
Identify problems analyze possible solutions and determine best course of action to resolve.
Understand complex business requirements and processes through effective analysis (which includes participation in project meetings) and working with other SMEs architects business/technology partners/vendor to come up with solution.
Work closely with Business and Technology partners on defect resolutions.
Provide support for overall systems testing and implementation into production
Required Qualifications
Strong familiarity with Genesys Workspace (IWS/WDE/WWE) Editions
7+ years of application development experience with the following languages:
Microsoft .NET/C#
Java
7+ years of Genesys CTI experience with primary focus around understanding Genesys Tserver Tevents
Desired Qualifications: Not required but great to have:
5 + years of experience troubleshooting environments across the entire architecture (i.e. applications to infrastructure)
5 + years of experience leading multiple work streams applications or deliverables
