The T-Mobile Engineer, Cybersecurity - Threat Intel plays a key role in the interpretation, transformation, and dissemination of intelligence crucial to the protection of T-Mobile customers and partners from fraudulent actors. The Engineer, Cybersecurity - Threat Intelligence provides T-Mobile teams with information about targeting and threat landscape, and uses information derived from all intelligence disciplines to determine changes in actor activity, capabilities, intent, and resources.
Your role will focus on the coordination, analysis, processing, and distribution of finished strategic, operational, and tactical intelligence. Partnered with various internal teams, you will quickly and discretely provide intelligence to assist in decision making and actively thwart emergent and current threats targeting our enterprise, people, and customers.

Responsibilities:
- Processing incoming information, reports, and messages
- Determining the significance and reliability of incoming information
- Analyzing exploits and tools and translating analysis into actionable intelligence
- Preparing all-source intelligence products
- Establishing and maintaining systematic, cross-reference intelligence records and files
- Integrating incoming information with current intelligence and investigations
- Assisting in driving the maturation and efficacy of Cyber Threat Intelligence discipline by continual improvement of operational practices
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an intelligence analyst, cybersecurity specialist, incident responder, or related position
- Working knowledge of cyber threat intelligence doctrine and practices, actors, malware, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), various security methodologies and processes OR working knowledge of intelligence analysis and Tradecraft
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to clearly articulate technical and strategic level cyber matters to a variety of audiences
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanor
- Excellent customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications
- Ability to travel as needed
- Preferred Qualifications (a plus to have)
- Formal Intelligence Analysis training and government/law enforcement experience
- One or more of the following education accomplishments: Master's degree (Computer Science, MIS, IT, Information Security, Computer Engineering, Digital Forensics); SANS GSEC, GCTI, GCIH, GCFA, GCFE, GREM, or GNFA; CISSP; or PMP
- Documented working knowledge of cyber operational security, log analysis, NetFlow analysis, incident response, malware analysis, computer forensics, and/or cyber crime
