X-Mode is looking for a front-end engineer who is ready to build well-designed web dashboards displaying real-time data for not only our internal users, but also our 100+ clients we partner with. You’ll be one of our first front-end engineers partnering with our UX and Back-End teams, and you’ll have a huge impact on our existing and future web applications. Come join us!
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Develop clean, reusable, and testable code with performance in mind
- Utilize REST API best practices for an easily scalable user interface
- Collaborate with the support team to identify and address bugs and help deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and directly hear feedback from end users
- Document design and progress in Atlassian Jira and Confluence
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or past equivalent experience with web development
- 2-5 years of experience in front-end web application development
- Real world experience in RESTful and Microservices architectures, JavaScript frameworks and tools specifically React, Angular, Node
- Experience implementing complex/ dynamic web user interfaces with HTML, CSS, Javascript/Typescript
- Good understanding of asynchronous request handling, partial page updates, and AJAX
- Experience using code versioning tools, such as Git, Bitbucket
- Experience with interface design Independent problem solver with superior technical, analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication (written and oral) skills
NICE TO HAVES:
- Familiarity with prototyping tools such as Adobe XD
- Experience in Agile / scrum methodologies
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them
- Experience clearly communicating to design any limitations or constraints with UX visualizing the dynamic data
