Software Engineer -Robotics Process Automation (RPA) (Contract-to-Hire), Norcross, GA (2 Openings)

Optomi, in partnership with our direct client in the packaging space is hiring 2 Software Developers to join their team! You will be a part of a brand-new team focused on building out a new center of excellence and a robotics process automation platform. You will work cross- functionally across an enterprise-level organization building out processes and sensory data ecosystems. The ideal candidate has the ability to write scripts and is hungry to learn RPA/Blue Prism! You do not need prior RPA experience as they will train you, however, you need 2-3 years of solid scripting experience to really excel in this role!

Apply today if your Background Includes:

• 2+ years of software development experience with a solid scripting language like PowerShell, Python, Perl ideally

• Must have the ability to write scripts from scratch in order to help troubleshoot and automate difficult tasks for clients

• Understanding of database architecture, i.e. how to look up schemas

• Must have sound understanding of Computer Science fundamentals, how loops work, and case logic

• Robotics Process Automation experience is a major plus!

Key Responsibilities:

• Work on tickets that come in from the end client and write scripts to troubleshoot issues

• Take data from one system and migrate it using scripting and other techniques to another

• Leverage the companys RPA implementation partner as much as possible
