Product Analyst at Kantar Media (Philadelphia, PA)

The Role

Responsible for the preparation of statistics and analyses that reflect the accuracy and volume of reportable data in Kantar Media offerings. Additionally, participation in end-user product software testing activities may be required.

The primary objective of this position is to ensure that the integrity of data being reported to clients is sound and uncompromised. In addition, ensure the data is reported on time as per stringent deadlines.

Qualified candidates must be able to apply analytical and strategic thinking to gathering and analyzing information and possess the ability to think creatively in response to changing priorities in a dynamic business environment.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• rm analyses using various Business Intelligence and Data Analysis tools 
  • ;to ensure data integrity  
  • ;to identify all data and product discrepancies  
  • ;to facilitate solutions in a timely manner

• Verify accuracy of final data to be reported in client products

• Work closely with Product and Database Management teams to research and resolve various data and product issues

• Develop approval procedures for new products or processes

• Assist in the creation of internal diagnostic tools

• Provide support for the collection and research of data for client questions and issues
• Participate in the testing phase of new product deliverables as required

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

BS/BA

• from a four-year college or university

• 1 to 2 years of demonstrated analytical and technical experience in a dynamic business environment

• Sound technical background with the ability to quickly adapt to the use of new technologies
• Ability to problem-solve using data

• Advanced Excel skills is required
• SQL query creation and tuning experience is required
• Advanced SQL Skills for data transformation and analytics is a plus
• End-User software testing experience is a plus

• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, share technical capabilities and learn from others

• Strong organizational and time management skills on a personal and team level

• Be proactive and self-directed in work habits
• Possess exceptional attention to detail
