We are emaratech (emarat Technology Solutions) FZ LLC, a technology and professional services company that specializes in providing consulting, outsourced technology and business strategy solutions for the global corporate and government entities in the Middle East.
We are currently looking for Java Full Stack developers who have strong knowledge in the following technologies:
Position: Software Engineer
Skills required:
- 3-5 years of server-side development using Java with a solid foundation in object-oriented analysis and design
- Experience in Spring framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Batch, JPA)
- Experience in client-side web development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, XML)
- Experience in microservices reactive architectures
- Experience in service-oriented architectures (REST, SOAP)
- Must have experience in Rule Designer, Rule Execution Server, IBM Liberty & Decision Center
- SQL and NoSQL experience (Oracle, Cassandra, MongoDB)
- Domain-driven design, SOLID principles, event sourcing, CQRS, design patterns
- Experience in message-driven architectures (RabbitMQ, Kafka)
- Good knowledge of TDD and Unit Testing frameworks i.e. JUnit, TestNG, Mockito; Knowledge of Selenium will be considered as an advantage
- Write secure code, familiar with threat models and with encryption, tokenization and authentication protocols.
- Good scripting skills (Python, Ruby)
- Experience in API design and documentation using tools like Swagger
- Discipline to document ideas and API in a clear, comprehensive and organized manner
- Experience troubleshooting issues in production
- Experience with Agile methodologies and processes - Scrum or Kanban
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms (AWS)
- BS/MS in computer science or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills
Must have -
- Must be hands-on with ODM Rule Designer and well versed with Rule Execution Server and deployment on IBM Liberty.
- Design and develop rules and event solutions using IBM ODM (Operational Decision Management), iLog, JRules.
- Should be able to test rules and work on automating rules integration test.
Good to have -
- Provide technical oversight and should be able to support iLog integration, iLog customization, RuleDecision Service optimization, etc
- Should have exposure on other rules engine, like pega, drools, etc.
