Software Engineer, C++ Frontend
We seek an experienced developer to join our award-winning team! The product development organization is going to grow substantially over the coming months; we need a driven, passionate software engineer to help take on some very exciting initiatives.
Successful candidates will have experience doing application development in C/C++ environments. We hire engineers who also have a passion for learning new languages and technologies such as Qt / QML and Rust. The best candidates are those who care as much about building amazing customer experiences as they do working with cool technologies. Mersive Solstice is a network-enabled, content sharing, client/server product where streaming performance and stability is of utmost importance, so candidates who have experience and interest working in and around these technologies are highly encouraged to apply.
Required qualifications/experience
- Minimum Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent experience in software development
- At least 2 years of application programming experience with C/C++ in one or more of the following environments: Windows, MacOS, Android or iOS
- Desire to learn and work with Qt / QML, one of the fastest growing cross-platform frameworks
- Demonstrated excellence in delivering well-designed, high-quality code on schedule
- Strong knowledge of software engineering principles
- Software debugging experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
