Summary
The successful candidate will be part of a highly skilled team based at Charlotte, NC.. He/She will work as a Senior Engineer to analyze and debug issues with any of the 7 products we have involving customers in 5 countries. The System debug team analyzes complex crashes in our quite complex AWS infrastructure OR customer issues that are hard to reproduce to debug failures reported from the field or lab verification setups
Primary Qualifications/ Skills:
- Interface with Architects and other technical experts to improve debug machinery and scale in next generations of the products.
- Comfortable with networking concepts around DNS, HTTP, HTTPS, Servers, Databases.
- Cloud/AWS experience is preferred
- Able to reading code at-least 1 language (Python/PHP/C++) in and out and debug live production issues that aren't reproducible on developer machines
- Experience analyzing DevOps alerts and debug what broke in the system and fix it on production
- Propose and implement efficiency mechanisms to automate analysis, eliminate repetitive manual tasks in debugging.
- Propose improvements in debug infrastructures, proactively advise development teams to develop test cases and preventive measures.
- Think out of the box and propose alternative debug builds to extract more information in case of complex issues where existing data may not be sufficient
