The Agile tool leader, developer, administrator is both a "doer" and "leader", responsible for leading the 2-member agile tool team (Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Slack, etc.) to improve the effectiveness of the agile development process for Xfinity Mobile.

Main Job Functions

  1. Keep the lights on: Set-up, administration, maintenance, upgrade, and technical support of current agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Slack) in support of 2,000 users.
  2. Grow: Optimize the way we use the agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Tableau, Slack) and add-ons (e.g., Jira Portfolio, etc.) by developing solutions to improve the effectiveness of the agile development process for Xfinity Mobile.
  3. Transform: Be a visionary. Lead our engineering team to the next level with a strategic vision and an operational plan to execute the strategy.
  4. Executive Reporting: Design and implement executive reporting to keep our leadership informed and provide them with decision making information.
  5. Train: Train user community on tool capabilities and best practices
  6. Process: Develop, implement and maintain a process to manage the intake of requests for work (RFW) that may include, request to purchase additional add-ons, customized tableau reports, jira configurations, etc.

  • An experienced application development Manager with prior experience developing code, using Jira and Confluence as the Application Lifecycle Management tool. Experience leading JIRA Admin and setting up Confluence for large program is highly desired.
  • Deep experience with Agile Scrum application development cycle essential.
  • A leader that can bring our engineering team to the next level. "Knowledge is Power" require someone with hands on experience and implemented agile delivery framework and use metrics to enhance the forecasting, planning and delivery of multi-layered and complex consumer application.
  • Experience with designing/creating a reporting/dashboard framework from multiple sources (i.e., Jira, Rally, HP ALM) using Tableau as the presentation layer is ideal.


  • Provide Agile delivery leadership, demonstrate and train team on key processes in the agile processes, requirements/ backlog/ grooming/ Dev/ Testing/ Release.
  • Identify, design and implement enhancements/improvements to existing Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) processes, tools, and resource skills based on quantitative analysis.
  • Define new / optimize required workflows in JIRA to support delivery framework (SCRUM).
  • Manage complex JIRA components including project workflows, screen schemes, permission schemes and notification schemes plugins.
  • Identify key Agile SDLC metrics, build and maintain them as Tableau reports and/or dashboards.


  • Knowledge of Jira 7, Confluence 6, and Atlassian SDK, Tableau, Slack.
  • Experience developing integrations between Jira, Confluence, and other enterprise tools (e.g. Zephyr QA plugin).
  • At least 3 years of experience in Agile/Scaled Agile environment owning and managing JIRA software.
  • JIRA server migration experience, experience with code branch-based development and integration a plus.
  • Hands on experience in each phase of application development, grooming/backlog/dev/test/release.
  • Understanding of JIRA from SDLC management standpoint.
  • Experience managing, training and mentoring individuals and teams.
  • Service orientation (JIRA ownership, troubleshooting, upgrades).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Programming experience in Java, Javascript, Groovy script, and/or Python a plus.
  • Experience working in a centralized portfolio management office or similar function
  • Experience managing complex projects and programs that involve working across multiple stakeholder groups, including executives
  • Exceptional problem solving skills that include putting together an actionable solution for how to solve the problem, while reducing risks
  • Ability to influence and build relationships quickly to establish rapport
  • Strong executive presence and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset, yet detail orientated attitude
  • Excellent MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
