  • Oversee the creation of the manual test scripts


  • Motivates and inspires team to deliver outstanding results


  • Responsible for defect management including monitoring and reporting on defect resolution


  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage exists by understanding the test scope and approach of dependent QA, UAT and Vendor groups and by establishing the testing strategy through the creation of a comprehensive End to End Test Plan.


  • Train full-time employees and consultants as needed


  • Leads release level planning activities


Scope of Role & Complexity


  • Participates in the development of goals and execution of strategies within a function or department


  • Lead a large team of FTE and Contract staff both directly or in a matrix environment in the test planning and execution of multiple initiatives within time and cost constraints 


  • Provide execution support and leadership for large, complex, technology-dependent programs and projects that cut across business and functional areas


  • Assess and revise test sequence and scope based upon test results and/or changes in product design


  • Effective at complex problem resolution and expected to assist in resolving all difficult issues, expanding the solution to include infrastructure, architecture, and multi-tier tools and business system strategies


  • Creation and execution of detailed test plans as well as cross-functional assessments


  • Progress reporting, defect tracking and risk assessments


  • Actively engage in the internal process and procedures improvement projects


  • Contribute in the development and maintenance of quality assurance standards, processes and quality improvement activities


  • Contribute in the development and maintenance of quality assurance standards, processes and quality improvement activities


  • Coordination with other UAT PMs, QA Leads, Project Managers, Development Managers, and QA Core members


  • Creation and execution of critical business End-to-End processes


  • 6-8 years of related experience


  • Bachelors degree or comparable experience


  • 6+ years of Quality Assurance experience with minimum intermediate knowledge of software development lifecycle principles and quality assurance methodology


  • 4 + years of experience working with developers, project and/or release managers


  • Intermediate to advanced experience with test planning, test execution and defect management


  • Full understanding of RAG status and capable of creating a re-plan
