The Senior User Experience Designer will be responsible to develop wireframe structures and creative designs for all product across all platforms using a variety of graphics software applications, techniques, and tools based on given project requirements. The job holder will also be responsible for all the designs, prototypes and develops user interface features, site animation, and interaction design to both communicate and move a user efficiently and effortlessly through tasks and experiences.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar environment
- Hands on experience in creative concept design and understanding of basic development specifics for mobile/web/desktop applications
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or Mass communication.
UX Design
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement an intuitive, seamless user experience with initiatives across web and mobile platforms
- Execute projects from a UX perspective by considering functionality, navigation, interaction models, and end-users specifics.
- Create UX deliverables: wireframes, functional specifications, site maps, user journeys, flows/red routes, personas etc.
- Participate in product definition with all user teams
- Craft prototypes and design deliverables to increase key performance metrics
- Analyzes strategy and contributes to the design groups efforts to enhance the look and feel of the organization’s digital offerings.
- Transfer the designed Layout into interactive guidelines and clickable prototypes based on latest trends and development standards.
- Manage different releases updates and modifications on the frontend development of the project.
- Applies latest usability approaches for front-end implementation and techniques based on project requirements.
- Champions mobile and user-centred design best practices to influence stakeholders key decision making.
- Optimize user flows and customer experience for conversion programs across all web business channels.
- Responsible for reviewing and monitoring competitive web/mobile applications and trends in e-Commerce user experience.
Support
- Present and Coordinate with UXD team and the Clients for the Creation of concept
- Coordinating with front end development team in layout deliveries and alterations if any
- Manage the vendors and suppliers with respect to the concept design in case of outsourcing
Documentation and Reports
- Prepares timely and well-structured source files and brand books
- Presents regular status reports on projects handled and reports to meet emaratech’s requirements, policies and standards
Policies, Systems, Processes and Procedures
- Recommends improvements to departmental policies, procedures and processes and implements approved departmental policies, processes, procedures and instructions
- Understand and embrace the corporate information security framework and perform duties according to the policy, procedures, standards and guidelines
Quality Management
- Compliance to all relevant quality management procedures and controls to guarantee compliance and delivery of high quality service
Continuous Improvement
- Implements the change management process for UXD dept. through continuous improvement of processes and practices considering best practices to meet the changing needs of emaratech
