- BS/BA degree or equivalent experience
- Advanced knowledge of Architecture, design and business processes
- Ability to work collaboratively with business stakeholders, subject matter experts, project/product managers, other programme leads & external vendors to deliver the solution, in-line with the strategic end-state and overarching business requirements
- Proficiency in Core Java and Relational and/or Non-Relational database systems.
- Strong OO design skills with good knowledge of multi-tier architecture and object modeling. Relational database experience and competence in Unix/Linux environments
- Experience with Spring, Hibernate, Tomcat, Struts, Java Multithreading, Security and Performance, Web Service (REST), Messaging formats including XML, JSON, and Google Protocol Buffers, Messaging TIB RV/JMS.
- Partnering with global team members from within or other teams to achieve successful business delivery.
- The ability to bridge the gap between business and technology is paramount in this role, to drive the business forward in their objectives whilst shaping truly innovative web-based technology solutions.
