The department «Regulatory Services» is developing and operating the new innovative platform «Regulatory Hub» that is used to transfer regulatory information bidirectional. For that the most modern technologies in back-end and front-end are applied with the use of agile principles. We are a dynamic and cross-functional and multidisciplinary team that is getting the job done.
Main duties
- As member of an agile and cross-functional team you ensure the 24/7 operation of our «Regulatory Hub» platform
- Install, maintain, upgrade and continuously improve the company operating environment running in two locations
- Setup and continuously improve the environment and application monitoring
- Deploy software releases and deal with new technologies
- Discussion and alignment with peers, the team and project management to ensure the environment strategy
- Maintain the ongoing reliability, performance and support of the infrastructure which includes monitoring the operating environments; responding to incidents and forecast scalability needs
Your profile
- Profound education in information technology with minimum 3 years of relevant experience in managing an enterprise Unix infrastructure within the areas of SAN-Storage, NFS, Docker, HTTP Server
- Solid skills in Unix scripting as well as basic Java programming are mandatory to successful get the job done
- Task automation oriented by using existing tools and create new ones where necessary and meaningful
- Unix/Linux architecture design and engineering knowledge on a global scale
- In depth understanding of Docker including proven implementation and support record
- Working knowledge of SCM (GIT/SVN), JIRA, Confluence is a plus
- Communicative, team-oriented personality
- Distinct analytical and conceptual thinking, good problem-solving skills and decision-abilities
- Fluent in German and English language
