YOU WILL WORK ON:
- IndoorViewer, our browser-based 3D application for visualization, digital enrichment and navigation of photorealistic indoor spaces – runs in any modern web browser as it is based on open standards (JavaScript, WebGL, Three.JS, AngularJS, HTML, CSS)
- The Java-based application server which drives the web client and the navigation app
- The PostgreSQL/PostGIS database which stores geospatially referenced data
- Bringing great new features to the frontend by working closely together with our mapping and navigation experts
- Improving the overall user experience by designing great user interfaces and user interaction workflows
- Implementing features for digital enrichment of the environment using geospatial SQL, REST and AngularJS
YOU HAVE:
- Profound experience in object-oriented software development and a good sense for elegant code and robust solutions for tough problems
- A Master / Bachelor degree in computer science, electrical engineering, mathematics (or similar) or no degree but self-taught top-notch coding skills
- Know-how in creating a great user experience
- Successfully implemented web applications which make heavy use of JavaScript
- Profound JavaScript experience knowing both the language and common JS libraries
- Fluency in HTML and CSS – these are your natural choices for creating user interfaces
- Creativity and persistence in creating solutions that work and last
- A structured, divide-and-conquer inspired approach to debugging software
- Experience with model-view-controller architectures and AngularJS
WE WILL BE THRILLED IF YOU HAVE:
- Experience with AngularJS, Three.JS, Bootstrap
- Good knowledge of Java EE and SQL
- Experience with Git, Python, Bash, Linux (e.g. Ubuntu, Debian, Redhat, SUSE)
- Experience with geospatial data
- An eye for good design and experience in building elegant, easy and fun-to-use user interfaces
- Experience in debugging and profiling applications and improving their efficiency, scalability, and stability
- Frontend experience with AngularJS and Bootstrap framework
- Well-versed in 3D graphics and web development
