iOS SDK Engineer at X-Mode Social (Reston, VA)

X-Mode is looking for a full time iOS SDK developer to build out and optimize our open source SDK, and help other app publisher partners integrate our X-Mode SDK successfully. For this position, you will need to work in our Reston, VA Headquarters and should be comfortable interfacing directly with clients.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

• 
  
• Develop new versions of X-Mode’s iOS SDK which is integrated into 300+ apps and runs on millions of devices
• 
  
• Aid our clients’ developers in integrating our products
• 
  
• Implement holistic testing strategies to ensure that our SDK works across different kind of apps over different devices and across various networks.
• 
  
• Address customer concerns and issues regarding software installation and operation
• 
  
• Participate in software design and code review for all libraries that the team creates
• 
  
• Write documentation for the libraries that we create
• 
  
• Be the primary technical escalation point for Client Success Managers during onboarding
• 
  

WHO YOU ARE:

• 
  
• 4+ years of experience with Objective-C
• 
   
  
• 2+ years of experience with Swift
• 
  
• 2+ years actively building iOS applications that have reached production status and been in the hands of end users
• 
  
• Experience and knowledge with mobile environments development tools such XCode
• 
  
• Prior experience with providing SDKs that other developers have used in their applications, especially with SDKs collecting location data
• 
  
• Ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and solutions
• 
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 
  
• Ability to work on multiple projects at once
•
