Your tasks
- Active participation in improving our Backend infrastructure and in implementing new and innovative technologies while working in agile and cross-functional teams
- Contribution of own ideas regarding new features as well as implementation of these by pair programming, BDD and TDD
- Development of services in our micro service architecture using Google Go (micro service)
- Continuous optimization of our cloud deployment as well as of the Cloud CI/CD environment through working in inhouse communities (inhouse)
- Regular training as well as continuous professional exchange through the participation in hackathons, the showtime and the LOVOO Open Space
Our requirements
- Relevant practical knowledge in PHP and Go or at least two other programming languages
- Experience in developing high traffic API’s and distributed systems
- Secure handling of common design patterns and architectural standards
- Knowledge about microservices, Docker, gRPC, HTTP/2.0, SQL, Redis/memcached
- Strong knowledge of algorithms and data structures
- Practical mentality in handling cloud environments (GCP or AWS)
- Work experience in agile software development (Scrum/Kanban) and ideally also in cross-functional teams
- Experience with Kubernetes, Redis, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Google BigQuery or Google Spanner is an advantage
- Independent, reliable and structured way of working
- Interest in Open Source as well as a willingness for further training
- Very good communication skills in English
