Design, develop and manage information technology (IT) solutions that meet the needs of the business. Work closely with IT management and subject matter experts to develop solutions and manage projects that facilitate process improvements.
Essential Functions
- Manage IT related projects
- Mentor and cross train other IT associates to support specific areas of responsibility
- Functional and technical support of specific areas of responsibility
- Perform design and code reviews with other developers
- Implementation of standard IT modules or functionality
- Design and develop IT solutions that meet the needs of our customers
- Develop detailed and comprehensive test plans
- Work with business associates and IT management to design, code and implement IT solutions that meet our business needs
- Work independently on assigned projects and tasks, effectively using other resources as needed
- Support the technical needs of customers in creating and maintaining PL/SQL functions and procedures
- Provide input into IT standards and SOPs and follow established standards
- Open and work internal and external service requests
Qualifications
- Education, Background and Skill Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT or similar course of study
- Minimum 4 years proven experience effectively developing and\or supporting CRM / ERP or similar Applications
- German language skills and fluent in English
- Experience in working with relational databases
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, Discoverer and Oracle Reports
- Functional knowledge of Oracle modules is a plus
- Project Management skills and experience is a plus
- Understanding of compliance regulation and SOX requirements
- Basic understanding of desktop operating systems and network communication protocols
- Basic understanding of PC hardware and peripherals
