Robotic Process Automation Engineer
The Team:
Within Commercial Tech, our Payments and Commercial Card group is building out an Intelligent Process Automation team. We will harness the power of automation tools, along with APIs and other technologies, to improve the lives of our associates. We are changing the way our employees look at automate routines and repetitive tasks – building software robots (or ‘bots!) to free up our associates time to focus on higher-value work, while also bringing about a reduction in risk.
The Role:
Do you have a test automation or software background and want to expand your development skills?
This role may be a great fit – a test automation background is a perfect starting point for what we do! Not only will you harness the power of the automation software, but we’ll need your development skills to write APIs and create seamless software ‘bots that easily fit into the lives of our associates.
You:
- Work within an agile team to design, configure, and implement rapid prototypes, which will be used by lines of business to automate manual tasks.
- Decompose business processes, assess automation readiness and recommend potential solutions to automate a part or the whole business process.
- Design, configure, test, deploy and maintain reusable automation scripts and frameworks designed to replicate manual administrative processes
- Own the craftsmanship, availability, resilience, and scalability of your solutions
- Learn, be inquisitive, and be technically curious, with a passion for emerging technologies (ML, NLP, RPA, API’s, and AI), their capabilities, and how they are used to empower business and technology to drive business simplification.
- Focus on DevOps practices and tasks, as well as related internal governance processes
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or military experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a software development, test automation, or Dev Ops role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's Degree
- 2+ years of experience working in an Agile or Kanban process
- 2+ years of experience in building automation frameworks and configuring RPA tools like Automation Anywhere, Blue Prism, UIPath, or WorkFusion
- 2+ years of experience working with cloud-based automation tools such as AWS, Azure, Google, IBM, or Salesforce
- 2+ years developing web-based solutions using HTML, CSS3, JavaScript, .NET, or SQL
