We are looking for a passionate, talented, and creative programmer (f/m) to join our team at our sites in Munich or Ulm.
We use modern development tools and technologies like Continuous Integration and Testing, Agile Development, Test-Driven-Development and Domain Specific Languages.
You will support our international team in the development of forward-looking and unconventional software solutions for highly interconnected and innovative automotive software functions.
As part of our dynamic and agile team you will work on different, future oriented projects, you will be highly connected with other departments and ensure robustness, performance and security aspects within the software design.
The result of your effort is high-quality software which becomes an integral part of BMW’s vehicles.
Qualifications and experience:
- University degree in computer science, information technology, or a comparable qualification.
- Special knowledge in agile methods, object-oriented design, continuous integration/deployment and software testing.
- Substantial practical experience in a modern programming language, especially C++.
- Profound experience in data structures, algorithm and software design.
- Experience in embedded software development and hardware-debugging would be an advantage.
- Knowledge of automotive bus systems (CAN, LIN, Ethernet) would be an advantage.
- Fluent English, German would be beneficial.
