WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Engineering leaders at Ripple are results driven and think strategically while balancing both short and long term

- You have a bias towards action and make decisions quickly after considering competing viewpoints
- Create shared vision and build and maintain strong partnerships with Product Management, Ops, Security, Research, Customer Success and Business development teams
- Integrate with the XRP Ledger, a distributed ledger built on the principles of Blockchain and its native currency XRP, the fastest and most scalable digital asset
- Lead xRapid expansion from engineering by Integrating with digital exchanges around the globe
- Add capabilities to integrate/operate with several crypto currencies
- Responsible for entire software development life cycle of xRapid
- Design, build and maintain a highly secure, scalable cloud-based xRapid product for customers across the world
- Own and deliver your roadmap
WHAT YOU MIGHT LOOK LIKE:
- At least 12+ years of hands-on Software Development experience in at least one of the following technologies: Java, JavaScript, AWS / DB technologies etc.
- You are still hands-on in Java / JavaScript technologies and loves to spend at least 30% of your time in coding/code reviews
- Have managed engineering teams of 15+
- You have demonstrated success in building highly scalable API’s / backend Platforms / distributed systems / Data access layers, etc.
- You have experience with Agile development
- Have experience in building full stack transactional systems (preferably in payments / banking / e-commerce domains)
- You have successfully recruited high performing teammates
- You thrive on autonomy and responsibility
- BS in Computer Science or similar
