As a Senior Cloud Architect at Leverege, you’ll be at the forefront of the tech industry, building first-of-their-kind distributed Internet of Things (IoT) systems for diverse use cases across industries. You’ll have the opportunity to use your skills and experience right away, working with a high performing, cross-functional team of system architects, product engineers, and UI/UX designers.
In this technical leadership role, you’ll be responsible for researching, architecting and implementing massively scalable cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools for the Leverege IoT Platform; leading quick turn-around client-facing projects; mentoring junior product engineers, and becoming a key member of the Leverege technical staff.
You must have 5+ years professional experience; excel in a team environment; be highly organized, have excellent problem solving and debugging skills, and be comfortable interacting directly with clients at times. Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD, DevOps, cloud deployments, Node.js, Docker, and basic knowledge of cloud security and best practices is a plus.
Responsibilities:
~ Design and implementation of a cloud-agnostic or multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.) approaches
~ Delivery of customer cloud deployment strategies, aligned with customer’s business objectives
~ Drive implementation and design decisions ranging from infrastructure, logging, CI/CD, monitoring, and container solutions
~ Lead quick turn-around projects
~ Support architectural trade-offs and troubleshooting efforts internally
~ Document product requirements, implementation steps, and verification checks
~ Mentor and lead junior product engineers
~ Promote technical growth within Leverege, making recommendations on software and training
Requirements:
~ 5+ years experience in a fast-paced professional setting (startup experience is a definite plus)
~ Ability to work in a high-interactive, agile development environment
~ Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
~ Good organizational skills with working knowledge of software best practices
~ Solid understanding of cloud architectures, microservices, containers, and design patterns
~ Excellent problem solving and debugging skills
~ Hands-on experience with at least two of the following: Kubernetes, AWS, GCP, Azure, CI/CD
~ Node.js
~ Docker
~ Working knowledge of network/cloud security best practices
