WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Solve complex problems in an antiquated industry with cutting-edge design solutions
- Work with designers, product managers and engineers to build the future of cybersecurity for everyday computer users
- Drive constant improvements for the end-to-end consumer user journey across Cylance’s suite of Consumer products
- Define and design interfaces for web, mobile, Windows, and Mac applications
- Design, maintain and work within Cylance’s design library
- Conduct user research, extract insights and derive design solutions
- Develop diagrams, page flows, and wireframes of various fidelity
- Create documentation and prototypes for User Interface mockups that demonstrate interactions and visual effects.
- Present design decisions to stakeholders
- Work with PMs and Engineers to build product features that extend the capabilities of our business.
- Contribute to shared pool of product knowledge-base
- Design product interfaces that demystify cybersecurity and empower Consumers to protect themselves against the latest cybersecurity threats
- Provide design documentation and deliverables
- Stay up-to-date on the latest Cylance products and services, industry best practices, and customer needs; attend applicable training, conferences, and learn new tools as needed
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
- 4+ years minimum of related experience in User Interface design including but not limited to software gaming, cloud-based productivity applications, or interaction design or other related technical experience.
- Experience designing interfaces for web, mobile, Windows, and Mac applications
- Excellent visual design, interaction and user experience skills
- A strong portfolio of product design work
- Ability to articulate design decisions
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a team of designers, product managers, and developers to meet strict deadlines
- Mastery of design tools including (but not limited to) Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, InVision, Axure RP, Principal for Mac, Lucidcharts, etc.
- Understanding of HTML5, CSS and JavaScript
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with various stakeholders who have differing levels of technical knowledge.
ABOVE AND BEYOND
- Degree in HCI (Human Computer Interaction)
- NN/g UX certification
- Experience in Consumer cybersecurity
- May be required to travel domestically
