We are looking for software developers that can solve problems with math, physics, geo spatial modeling - combined with scheduling algorithms on one/all of desktop, web, mobile, & on-board satellite applications.
Candidates will work in small development teams on all aspects of the development life cycle. They will interact directly with customers and have the potential to attend domestic and international conferences. Self-motivation and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are required. They will interact internally with the VP of Software Development, Software Engineers and Systems Engineers. Our ideal candidate is highly motivated, eager to learn, and able to come up with innovative solutions to challenging problems. Orbit Logic is an software engineering company that creates applications related to satellites/space/aircraft for the full tech stack. We are not keyed into a specific language, but are looking for developers who can design and build good code on a complex subject matter.
Skills & Requirements
- US Citizenship, or dual citizenship required
- 2 or more years of experience in software development
- Fundamental understanding of object oriented methodology and data structures
- BS in Computer Science
Why didn't we include a specific technology? Because we have a lot of projects in a lot of different technologies. If you are a great object oriented programmer in any language and can work on difficult subject matter (satellites), then this may be right for you We believe that if you have a strong foundation of the fundamentals of programming, then you can learn any technology with ease.
