As the internal IT service provider of the GfK Group, Group IT provides the necessary infrastructure worldwide to determine the survey data. This is where all IT processes converge and where we are continuously working on improving IT services for our internal customers worldwide. This is why the team, which is organised virtually, is made up of colleagues from all six continents who offer IT services in the local GfK companies.



As Head of End User Services (m/f) you will perform the following tasks in detail:





  • Comprehensive strategic consulting and management of customers at management level, development and expansion of high customer loyalty

  • Responsibility for internal P&L (sales responsibility), account planning

  • Development of a vision and implementation plan for GfK's future digital workplace environment

  • Leadership and instruction of team members responsible for internal, customer-side technology and end user computing

  • Collaboration with Global/Regional Service Desk to deliver the best possible user experience and continuously develop the digital workplace environment

  • Leading in the development of our client hardware and (package) software lifecycle management

  • Establishing and maintaining productive cooperation with the Regional IT Heads with the aim of addressing technology requirements and creating solutions

  • Development of flexible technology strategies that support long-term growth

  • Courage and experience to break new ground and find innovative solutions for business requirements

  • Development of methods and processes that significantly support the introduction and implementation of changes




You have the following professional qualifications:




  • University degree in computer science or comparable qualification

  • Several years of relevant professional experience required

  • Seniority and assertiveness as well as the ability to build and manage customer relationships at management level

  • Solution-oriented, result-oriented and already successfully managed customer relationships

  • Commitment and passion for strategy and account management

  • Intercultural competence, successful work in an international network, business and industry understanding - national and international

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Several years of disciplinary management experience required

  • Very good knowledge of Windows OS, client and application virtualization

  • Very good knowledge of the Software Lifecycle Management Processes

  • Very good presentation experience

  • Presentational English skills (written and spoken)
