PLATFORM ENGINEERING
The AVP, Product, Engineering Platforms brings expertise in and is accountable for:
• Driving product strategy, planning, and delivery of engineering platforms across the globe
• Overseeing and developing a globally distributed team of product managers, scrum masters,
• and product strategy professionals
• Guiding the evolution of the firm’s target architecture and platform strategies in alignment
• with changing customer and business needs
• Maintaining an enterprise view on the evolution of platforms and nurture experimentation in
• support of understanding emerging technologies
The AVP, Platform Engineering brings expertise in and is accountable for:
• Delivering global platforms as the manifestation of the firm’s target architecture, inclusive of
• selection, implementation, and ongoing evolution
• Overseeing and developing a globally distributed team of platform engineers
• Guiding the architecture and technical implementation of global platforms across product
• teams
• Maintaining an enterprise view on the evolution of platforms and nurture experimentation in
• support of understanding emerging technologies
PRODUCT SOFTWARE ENGINEERING
The AVP, Software Engineering brings expertise in and is accountable for:
• Enabling software development across key divisional priorities through an embedded team of
• staff engineers, with a focus on accelerating consistent implementation of engineering patterns
• and approaches
• Guiding the development and evolution of engineering patterns, best practices, and reference
• implementations to consistently increase the rate of sharing and reuse across the globe
• Delivering core services powering customer experiences across the globe and software
• development kits enabling rapid delivery at scale
• Overseeing and developing a distributed team of software and staff engineers
• Maintain an enterprise view on the evolution of software engineering and nurture
• experimentation in support of understanding emerging technologies
SITE RELIABILITY
The AVP, Site Reliability brings expertise in and is accountable for:
• Delivering monitoring and triage, and site reliability functions for applications built on the
• firm’s target architecture platforms as a key enabler of adoption
• Overseeing and develop a globally distributed team of site reliability engineers
• Guiding the evolution of site reliability operating procedures and best practices as a
• community of practice across the globe
• Maintaining an enterprise view of the evolution of reliability engineering and nurture
• experimentation in support of understanding emerging technologies in this space
