PowerInbox is seeking a Senior Engineer: C# & Azure to join our RevenueStripe product team to work on our Supply Side Platform (SSP) Team. This position will report to the Chief Product Officer.
This is a remote working position but the candidate must be located in the US and work east coast hours.
Responsibilities:
You will work on the core backend for our Supply Side Platform (SSP). The SSP handles billions of incoming ad requests that enter our system.
This will include:
- Work as part of a software development team to design, build, test and maintain features and changes in C#, Azure and Javascript for the SSP
- Actively participate in product requirements and design discussions.
- Responsible for creating/enforcing the build and maintenance of technical requirements and any other technical documentation/artifacts.
- Capable of understanding and contributing to technical solutions from technical design through release.
- Maintain and upgrade existing applications as needed.
- Troubleshoot issues for internal and external users of the SSP.
Qualifications:
Required
- 10+ years of experience working on high-volume traffic systems in C#
- 5+ years of experience working on
- Must be extremely well-versed in:
- C# / .Net Framework
- Azure (VM, Storage, Queues, …)
- Building and performance-tuning scalable systems that can support billions of requests
- Cache systems (local and distributed)
- SQL Databases
- Must have proven technical capabilities with a track record in software development and delivery of projects within a software development environment.
- Strong problem solving skills.
- Strong verbal & written communication skills.
- Self-motivated individual capable of working well as part of a team, but also independently with little or no supervision.
- Great capacity for turning a loosely defined project description into a well-defined plan.
- Hands-on experience with Git (or equivalent) for version control.
Desirable
- Experience with Supply Side Platforms and/or OpenRTB auctions and other ad technologies
- Javascript experience
- Offline HTML/Image rendering
