SSENSE is currently looking for a DevOps developer to join our permanent team. You will be responsible for the development and the evolution of tools for the infrastructure of version, deployment and management of configuration and automation.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Infrastructure automation (Infrastructure as code)
- Implement and manage our “Continuous Integration” / “Continuous Delivery” services.
- Implement and manage our Docker / Kubernetes clusters.
- Proactively manage and implement network security and keep abreast of current security best practices
- Assist in overall architecture and infrastructure design
- Develop documentation and other materials to support ongoing development, change control, and production maintenance
- Provide training to developers and Operations staff, while keeping abreast of emerging technologies and features
- Work as part of the Operations Team 24x7 on-call shift rotation to troubleshoot production, performance issues, including off-hour maintenance as required (level 2)
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years hands-on experience as a Unix-based (Linux) system administrator in a mission critical environment
- Intimate knowledge of Amazon AWS
- Intimate knowledge of Linux or Linux-like systems administration, performance and filesystem tuning
- Strong knowledge and hands on experience related to high availability web architecture and technology including Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Redis, MySQL and PHP
- Experience working in a large-scale MySQL environment
- Strong ability to write scripts in an administrative language (Python, Perl, Ruby, or Shell)
- Proven ability to work well in a crisis and under pressure
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
ASSETS
- Programming background in any applicable language
- Experience with managing configuration systems such as Chef, Puppet or Saltstack
- Experience managing productions environment in a cloud infrastructure

SSENSE est actuellement à la recherche d’un administrateur de système pour se joindre à son équipe permanente. Vous serez responsable de tâches journalières liées à l'infrastructure et son opération.
Vous ferez partie de l’équipe responsable du développement et de l’évolution des outils de l’infrastructure de version, de déploiement et de gestion de la configuration ainsi que de son automatisation.
RESPONSABILITÉS
- Tous les tâches d’administration de système standard, tel que: réglage de performance proactive, tests de charge, surveillance et profilage de système, “troubleshooting”, sauvegarde et recouvrement de données, installations, planification de capacité et configurations sur une base régulière, ainsi que de performer des applications de patches et de mise-à-jours
- Gérer les environnements de développement, intégration, staging et de production. Ainsi que d’implémenter des améliorations afin de répondre au besoin d’entreprise
- Créer et implémenter de façon proactive la sécurité réseautique afin d’appliquer les meilleures pratiques de sécurité
- Rédiger de la documentation et autres matériels appuyant la gestion des tâches journalières reliées à l’infrastructure.
- Travailler avec l’équipe des opérations 24/7 en étant sur rotation. Afin de supporter l'environnement de production (level 1)
QUALIFICATIONS
- Un minimum de 3 ans d'expériences dans un environnement critique en tant qu’administrateur UNIX (Linux)
- Connaissance intime avec Linux, administration de système, performance, optimization
- Forte connaissance des services réseaux UNIX, incluant la capacité d’installer, configurer et dépanner des services TCP/IP, tel que DHCP, DNS, SMTP et GlusterFS
- Forte connaissance et expérience avec des architecture web hautement disponible utilisant des technologies tel que Apache, Nginx, HAProxy, Redis, MySQL et PHP
- Forte connaissance et pratique des stratégies de sauvegarde et recouvrement de données
- Expérience dans un environnement MySQL à grande échelle
- Aptitude avéré de travailler dans des situations de crise et de pressions
- Excellente compétence de communication écrite et oral
ATOUT
- Capacité d’écrire des scripts d’administrations dans un langage tel que Python, Perl, Ruby ou Shell
- Expérience avec des outils de gestions de configurations de système tel que Chef, Puppet ou Ansible
- Expérience de gestion avec des environnement de production dans le “cloud”
