ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with development team to provide software solutions and support ensuring high availability to business resources.
- Work directly with development team and department heads or other assigned staff members to hear application and system needs and develop software applications approved by manager that will address corporate needs.
- Respond to issues relating to applications and database errors and correct them on a timely basis so systems are operating at peak efficiency.
- Ensure confidentiality, reliability, functionality and integrity of corporate data, proprietary information and intellectual property.
- Represent the Parker, Smith & Feek corporate mission and vision.
- Ensure superior customer service for internal and external customers.
- Other duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Must haves:
- MVC 5 (ASP.NET C#)
- Client Web (HTML 5, CSS3, jQuery)
- T-SQL Programming
- Entity Framework
Strong candidates will also possess the following skills:
Experience with:
- Public facing web development (secured membership sites)
- Adaptive form factors (UI)
- Consuming web services / APIs
- Azure development
- Mobile development (Xamarin)
Familiarity with:
- VS 2015 (2017) and TFS
- MS SQL Environment
- Async/Await Model
- JavaScript and Classic ASP
