Job Description:

• 10+ years of related experience in Citrix, VMware and Active directory environment

• Designs, plans, and implements system and network architectures that are highly performing, scalable, fault tolerant, secure, and compliant.

• Provide support and guidance for the Enterprise Infrastructure environment.

• Experience in VMware VSphere ESXi 6.5design, deployment, administration, testing and troubleshooting

• Experience desired with a proven advanced skill-set and enterprise experience across various Microsoft and VMWare technologies with specific expertise in the following:

• Microsoft Windows Server OS 2003 R2/2008R2, 2012 R2, 2016 build and deployment of both physical and virtual servers (VMWare). P2V conversion.

• Certificate Management,

• Experience in Citrix Presentation server and XenApp configuration, Citrix Receiver, Storefront deployment, Application Deployment, administration, testing and troubleshooting.

• Strong experience in VMWare vSphere ESXi 5.x & 6.x

• Strong understanding of Microsoft Core Infrastructure Windows Servers 2003 R2/2008 R2/2012 R2, 2016, Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policy Objects and MS Office suite.

• Strong understanding of network concepts including TCP/IP sub netting, routing, SMTP protocol.

• Strong Understanding & troubleshooting of DNS, DHCP, File Server, Granite, Group Policy, Microsoft Active Directory tools, Performance tuning etc.

• Good understanding of data storage technologies, iSCSI, NAS, SAN, HBAs.

• Excellent hardware (servers, peripherals) and software troubleshooting skills.

• Professional Certifications - One or more advanced professional certifications related to chosen discipline:

• VMware Certified Professional

• Certified Citrix Administrator

• Microsoft Cert - MCP, MCSE, MCITP Enterprise Admin

• ITIL V3 Foundation in Service Management

Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
 

• 5+ years of software development experience in Java, Spring, Spring Boot a plus

• Experience designing and implementing large-scale event based architectures

• Experience in API and Microservice design

• Experience in various NoSQL technologies

• Experience with Message Queue technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

• Experience with cloud based architectures on AWS or GCP

• Expert at continuous testing/integration and compelled to automate everything

• Strong communication skills and interest in pair programming environment

• Experience in Test Driven Development (TDD) and agile methodologies

• Strong Unix/Linux experience

• Use skills as a seasoned, experienced professional to work on all phases of development within broadly assigned technical discipline

• Driven to excel in areas of technical expertise and expand base of knowledge

• Coaching and teaching skills to mentor less experienced team members

• Experience leading / mentoring development teams through an agile project lifecycle

• Working knowledge on architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or DoDAF

• BA/BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
