OUR POSITION


At Sioux you will develop software for products in the following markets: professional equipment manufacturing, life science & health, automotive and image & printing. Sioux has a broad project portfolio that ranges from electron microscopes to inkjet PCB printers, and from Smart Car systems to Digital 3D imaging. This diversity of markets offers you the opportunity to develop your engineering skills in various domains.


As an Junior Software Engineer, you are involved in different development phase, from implementation to testing the software. Together with your team and other disciplines, you make every possible effort to create the optimal solution for the project. You will work at the Sioux Development Centre or at the customer's site. This position is for 36 to 40 hours per week.


Your daily activities comprise the following:



  • conceiving a technical design fitting the established architecture and implementing it

  • testing software modules based on the specifications and the technical design

  • integrating different software modules into (sub-)systems

  • creating relevant associated documents


YOUR EXPERIENCE


You closely match the following profile:



  • you have a background in computer science at higher vocational education level or university level, or you will graduate shortly

  • you have acquired programming language experience with C, C++, Java or C# during an internship or for your thesis

  • you are familiar with different development methods and techniques (Real-time, OOAD, UML, Rup, Agile, etc.) and you want to keep this professional expertise up-to-date

Manager, Client Integration Engineering (CIE)

About the Position

In this role, the CIE Manager will work to manage the customers overall operational expectation and requirements. This will entail working with cross-functional groups from development to operations and professional services to customer success to sales to ensure work is prioritized and managed, and to ensure full communication with the customer. The CIE Manager will not only help train and mentor within the company, but will also assist in accomplishing organizational goals. This individual is expected to be a have a firm grasp on network troubleshooting, monitoring tools, customer satisfaction, project management concepts, service-level management and escalation processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Be a leader for the CIE team.
  • Act as key communication contact and point of escalation for operational issues and management.
  • Identify, manage and work with customer and internal teams on all operational risks and issues and resolutions.
  • Ensure that delivery processes (integration, customization, migration, delivery support) are continuously reviewed and updated as necessary to ensure continuing maturity of service delivery.
  • Identify and work with internal teams and customer on service improvement initiatives including training needs.
  • Review and manage SLA reporting.
  • Provide leadership and manage escalations for quick resolutions to customer
  • Work with support teams to ensure timely resolution to trouble tickets.
  • Ensure consistent follow up with product teams regarding customer-impacting product defects and feature requests.
  • Support CIE day-to-day client interactions.
  • Assist CIEs in setting and managing client expectations.
  • Acts as a resource for colleagues with less experience.
  • Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.
  • Build a knowledgebase of each client's business, organization and objectives.
  • Manage cross-team processes.
  • Promote best-practice within the organization.
  • Must be able to communicate well with senior staff.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience.
  • Relevant industry recognized certification an advantage.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills a must.
