Were looking for talented, digital minds like you to help us create code that moves the world. Together with you, well build outstanding digital experiences and products for all Volkswagen Group brands that will transform mobility. Join us as we shape the future of the car and everyone around it.
YOUR TEAM
We are aiming at bringing assisted and automated driving features to our roads on our journey towards autonomous driving. These in-house developed features will guide you through the whole development process. From concept until release to the customer. The key challenge to enable self-driving vehicles is the perception of the environment of the car - in all relevant situations and use-cases. For our environment model we go beyond state of the art approaches to gain and process information about the vehicle's surroundings provided by a multitude of sensors as well as backend services.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Develop state of the art algorithms for information and sensor fusion of among others camera, lidar and radar
- Create the environment model for the Autonomous Driving System of the future
- Responsibility for research, implementation and test of sensor fusion algorithms for tasks such as object tracking, semantic segmentation, optimization algorithms, SLAM or occupancy grid mapping
- Leverage tooling and automation, measuring everything to monitor and improve key metrics such as availability and performance
WHO YOU ARE
- Degree in computer science, electrical engineering, information technology or a comparable course of study, PhD is a plus
- Passion to shape the future by using the latest technologies
- Proficient skills in C++ - a plus is a GitHub profile
- Experience with Machine Learning approaches and transforming classical algorithms in ML based algorithms
- Practical experience with agile methods and tools, love for clean code and scalable architectures
- As a plus you have experience in software development according to ASPICE and ISO 26262
NICE TO KNOW
- 35-hour weeks
