Mulesoft Software Engineer at OneMain Financial (Fort Mill, SC)

OneMain Financial, a leader in consumer lending, leverages MuleSoft to provide an integrated application network. We are looking for a new member of the integration development team.

In this role, you will be responsible for learning and leveraging the MuleSoft platform to deliver integrated solutions based on business requirements. The Senior Software Engineer works directly with the team to finalize API designs before starting development. This role is responsible for completing API development in accordance with defined enterprise standards and processes and is willing and able to assist junior developers with their assigned development tasks as needed.

To be successful in this role you should have the following.

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science or related field

• 5+ years of experience in a development role, preferably some time focused on integration-related work

• Some experience developing integration, middleware, web services and/or APIs

• Background in testing best practices including test case planning and unit testing

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

• Ability to communicate complex technical terms in an easy to understand, non-technical manner

• Able to engage with and establish trust and rapport with all levels of team members

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Capable of managing multiple projects at once and prioritizing duties
